Digital X-rays reveal what no visual exam can show: cavities forming between teeth, bone loss around tooth roots, infections developing below the gum line, the position of developing teeth in children and teens, and the current status of existing fillings, crowns, and other restorations. A thorough dental evaluation is not complete without them. At Twin Oaks Dental Studio, a full set of X-rays is taken every three to five years for most patients, with smaller check X-rays taken annually or as needed based on risk profile.
