Dr. Velkovski prepares the tooth and takes a digital intraoral scan – no impression trays, no material in your mouth. The scan feeds into CEREC design software where he creates a precise virtual model of your crown. The design is sent to the in-office milling unit, which carves the crown from a single block of dental ceramic in about 15 minutes. The finished crown is checked for fit, adjusted as needed, and cemented permanently – all in the same appointment.
