Your First Visit

Your first appointment at Twin Oaks Dental Studio is designed to be straightforward and unhurried. Dr. Velkovski takes time at every new patient visit to understand your history, address any concerns, and give you a clear picture of your oral health – before recommending anything.

What to Expect

When you arrive, our team will greet you and help you get settled. If you completed your forms online, check-in takes just a few minutes. If not, we will give you time to fill everything out at the office.

Dr. Velkovski will review your health history, take any necessary X-rays, and perform a thorough exam that includes a check of your teeth, gums, and bite. If it has been a while since your last cleaning, a hygiene visit may be scheduled for the same appointment or a follow-up visit depending on your situation.

At the end of your exam, Dr. Velkovski will walk you through his findings in plain language and explain your options. There is no pressure to agree to anything on the spot. You leave with a clear understanding of where your oral health stands and what – if anything – needs attention.

Before You Come In

To make your first visit as smooth as possible, please bring the following:

A valid photo ID
Your dental insurance card (if applicable)
A list of any medications you are currently taking
Any recent dental X-rays from your previous dentist, if you have them

You can also complete your new patient forms online before you arrive through our Forms page. This saves time at check-in and helps Dr. Velkovski prepare before he even walks into the room.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. called them at 9am this morning in a indescribable pain and they got me in within an hour. when arriving in the office, not only was i greeted so kindly but they immediately got me back into a room to help with the issue i had going on. the entire staff was so beyond kind, continued to reassure me everything was going to be okay. as i sat in the chair, i was shaking from pain and anxiety and the staff went the extra mile to show me support and calm me down. i didn’t have health insurance and at the end the office informed me of care plans they do to really help someone like me who’s without insurance! i couldn’t recommend this office enough! thank you twin oaks!

The Dentist feels more human and caring versus just another doctor out to make all he can off you.
